I made this little book for the baptism of my godchild named Olga Firman. It was on the 4th of March 2012.

Book - ‘WILD/HOME: fairytales’

A book with illustrations of old fairytale figures combined with sometimes scary nature pictures taken by my own. The technique is based on the style from Anton Pieck to make an interesting interference of 3D.

Flip book - ‘Moving planets’

This silk-screened flip book is made out of my research about ‘Rhythm’ & ‘Movement’.

Christmas cards

These are developed by silk-screen printing. They are all self made cards.

Post card - ‘Skate with me’

This is developed by screen printing, all made by myself. This post card is personal, because since I already was a child I loved skating around in my town.

Video - ‘Structured’

This was a group project about making a piece of art that can be used for an exposition in the Arenbergschouwburg, Antwerp. Arenberg is a place where you can see theatre, music, performances, etc. I worked together with another student from ‘Free Arts’ who is specialized in videos and other stuff. It was a nice cooperation! There has been also an exposition of our work together with other student projects in Campus Congres (campus of Free Arts), Antwerp.

This video is inspired by the artist Fabrice Gygi and his use of ‘power’ in his works. Another source of inspiration was psychology for us: pressure disease. We called our work ‘structured’ because we wanted to make different kinds of structures (with always 3 movements) with daily things that are very strictly positioned.

Site - ‘RHYTHM’

This site is made by a group of graphic designers who are all fascinated by the theme ‘Rhythm’. We made a lot of research on our own blogs during some months and afterwards we made this e-publication. We put all the information that we got together in this site. The designing of the site is inspired by a ‘Pianola’.
